A Humble Hello
Hello All,
I must first say that this is a collaboration between Mike and I, and that he will provide his hello shortly, but I thought first I’d give a little explanation of our goals here with this blog.
We are two young, recent college graduates, active in politics and our communities, who wanted to have a place to voice our youthful opinions on what we see as wrong with the system as it currently stands, and let other young people react and share their idea. We promote discussion, and we even hope to start building consensuses, so that youth opinions may be better understood for the outside world.
I will be writing from the Red Clay Country Diary, which is an homage to my current place of residence, in the Red Clay Country of Northern Alabama. I currently work as a conservationist and on a daily basis deal with dozens of rural issues. I’m a third generation conservationist, a child of both Appalachia and the Rust Belt, and you’ll find my opinions fall on rural, environmental, media, or regional issues.
